Sometimes Husband doesn't pay attention to the conversation because he tries to read or do something at the same time. Sometimes it's just looking at something that will have him distracted.
Today, it was the uploading of some photos.
Me: Okay, bacon is grilling, pan is on the cooker. Do your magic with the omelette.
Husband: Do you want bacon in your Ferrari?
Me: I have a Ferrari?
Husband: If you did, I'd know about it.
Me: Then why do I want bacon in my Ferrari?
Husband: I don't know… so do you want bacon in your Ferrari?

I Like F1 Cars and I Cannot Lie: Autosport Show International 2014 Edition
One day, on a Sunday many moons ago, the husband decided to put the F1 Spanish GP on. Neither one of us watched F1, but he was having a sentimental moment about his dad, who was a huge F1 fan and would've been sat, with cig in one hand and a cup of tea in another, ready for the race to start.
Somehow, the race got left on. We were only meant to watch the start. But a lap happened. Then another. And another.
THEN A PITSTOP!
Husband: Whoa! Did you just see that? Did you? The speed! BAM!
Emma: Hang on, I have to rewind that. That's not possible! 3.1 seconds? I can't tie a shoe that quickly!
Fast forward to 11th January 2014 and you can find us at the Autosport Show in Birmingham, practically drooling over the F1 cars. Pining for them. Taking a lot of photos of them. Oh the beauty!
So if you're there next year, try not to trip over me in the F1 section.

Wings for Life World Run
Last year I did The Color Run. It was awesome. You run, walk, skip, cartwheel your way through 5km whilst people you don't know throw coloured powder at you. Feel free to roll in said powder.
I even raised some money for Stand Up 2 Cancer! And I loved every minute of it.
Here I am covered in Fairy Dust! |
Now I have a new challenge. Running for those who can't. I'm taking part in the Wings for Life world run, where at select destinations across the globe will take part in a run, at the exact same time, to fund research into a cure for spinal cord injuries Will you join me?
